MEET THE CAST of MANECDOTES 2025!

Andrew Boyle
moved to New York, caught Uta Hagen on stage one night, and began studies at her school, HB Studios. He landed roles in the Tony award-winning shows, “Ragtime,” directed by Frank Galati, and “Fosse,” directed by Gwen Verdon and Ann Reinking. Recent roles include Trent for Cailin Harrison’s “WAITless” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Mr. Slydell in “Lady Liberty,” both under the award-winning direction of Ted Lange. He’s new to the Storytelling World, grateful to have performed at Story Salon, Strong Words, and now Jam Creative's MANECDOTES. @officiallyandrewboyle

Jeffrey Berke
is a writer and producer living in Santa Barbara. His storytelling was recently featured on The Moth Radio Hour on NPR.

Eric Conner
is thrilled to JAM again after sharing his trauma at Jingle Tales over being a woefully underprepared Elmo & Santa Claus. Eric is a professor at New York Film Academy, a Burbank Cultural Arts Commissioner and board member of the Burbank International Film Festival. If you want to hear Eric’s only-slightly geeky pontifications, check him out on Film Courage or the Geekscape podcast network. A rare native Delawarean, Eric lives right near the other Taco Bell on Magnolia with his wife Lauren, sons Alex & Judah and their chaotic canines Fezzik & Iggy Pup. Happy (Post) Father's Day!

Margaret Dodge
Comedian, writer, actor, storyteller, and feral cat trapper Margaret Dodge, originally from the sticks in central Maine, lived in New York City for 27 years before driving her three cats cross country for the next adventure in Los Angeles. She’s been featured in Time Out New York and the Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival and a semi-finalist in the Laughing Devil Comedy Festival.

Katya Duft
is a public transit blogger (Tales From the Bus) and a three-time Moth Story Slam winner; frequent participant of storytelling shows and contests in Los Angeles. She is also a linguist fluent in English, Russian, and French, who works in post-production.

Kevin McGeehan
is an award-winning storyteller, including 10 Moth StorySlams and the 2019 New York Moth GrandSlam Championship. He worked as an actor, writer, and teacher for Chicago’s famed Second City theater for over 20 years. His autobiographical stories can be heard on The Moth Radio Hour and RISK podcast, as well as read in Men’s Health magazine and the Moth's 20th anniversary book, All These Wonders.

Cat Ski
is an actor, writer, and singer who recently pivoted from corporate leadership to return to her creative roots and passion. Her work explores identity, generational and cultural complexity, and unfiltered experiences that are both personal and universal. As a Korean-American mother and daughter, she crafts stories that are bold, intimate, and emotionally resonant. Onstage, onscreen, or on the page, she gives voice to what often goes unspoken—with honesty, edge, and heart.

Bob Siegal
was born and raised on Long Island and as the youngest of three boys, he survived and thrived by finding the humor in life’s challenges. Claiming everything he knows about life he learned from watching movies, it’s no surprise that Bob spent his career in media and entertainment. After stints as a network executive, columnist, screenwriter, author, and inexplicably for the past 20 years as a management consultant, it was time to return to the stage. Bob believes you’re never too old to have fun. And, with six kids, seven grandkids, and an artist wife, he never runs out of material.

Suzanne Weerts
your host and storyteller, Suzanne launched JAM Creative in 2017 to support non-profits through the art and connections created by storytelling. Since then, JAM has donated over $50,000 to local charities. She tells stories on stages across LA, but gets the most joy helping others bring their stories to life. Look for Suzanne's memoir "Champagne Girl in a Budweiser Family" coming soon (know a good publisher?)

Musical Guests: the NashBerry Family Band
featuring Ken Berry, a guitar player who toured with and continues to work in the studio with Barry Manilow, and has been writing music for television for 30+ years. His wife Connie Nassios is a keyboard/bass player who toured with Aureus. Their daughter, Abbi Berry, is an award-winning jazz and pop vocalist, pianist, guitarist, and songwriter and teacher.
Our benefit shows would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors. We have immense gratitude to the following
businesses and kind humans who are helping make bring MANECDOTES to the stage in 2025!
